E' stata davvero una Special Edition the one of INVICTUS Camp 2023, now in its ninth edition'estate 2015 forward. Starting with the novelty of a brand new and exclusive location, within which a basketball area will be built, the prestigious Health Village More of the Monti Salute Più Group, wonderful natural amphitheater set in the Val Sillaro, a few kilometers from Monterenzio.
A dream week, in which the athletes have had the opportunity to work on individual fundamentals every morning, especially refining the shooting technique, to then put into practice the improvements acquired in the competitions carried out daily, three individual competitions and those in teams, with a progressive ranking that led to decreeing the winners in the Finals of the last day, dopo che il pomeriggio prima si era svolta l'All Star Game, followed by a wonderful private pool party!
Between Special Guest Stars of INVICTUS Camp 2023, the first was Erazem Lorbek, Slovenian player chosen in the NBA Draft by Larry Bird's Indiana Pacers, arrived alone 19 years in Italy at Fortitudo Bologna, with here he played the Euroleague Final in 2004 and won the Scudetto in 2005, to then continue his career in Spain (cousin Unicaja Malaga, quindi FC Barcelona conquistando il titolo di Campione d'Europa), Russia (CSKA Mosca) and Slovenia (Union Olimpija Ljubljana). In the field, two of the top international specialists concentrated on shooting technique, Adam Filippi - 25 years in the NBA as International Scout and Player Development Coach, winning three NBA rings with Kobe Bryant's Los Angeles Lakers, being called up to the Charlotte Hornets by Michael Jordan and to the Sacramento Kings by Vlade Divac, and working every summer with NBA pros, including Marco Belinelli and Simone Fontecchio, e Paolo Moretti, one of the strongest shooters in Italian basketball both at the club level - he won everything with Virtus Bologna - than with the Italian national team, Serie A Coach today!
An unforgettable week for the participating athletes, who have combined the fun of the basketball training and competitions on the fieldll'Acquapark, enjoying the dishes of Panoramic restaurant and relaxing at the beautiful farmhouses Ca' Mulino e Ca' Sillaro.
